I've decided I would like to try and make a cider probably dry for the sake of ease for a first batch. I was wondering what I would need besides apple apple cider and yeast. I know I'll need yeast nutrient as well, but I was wondering what type would be best? I also figured I need another fermentor so I can do more than just secondary because I've heard that good ciders need age. I would also like to know if I need to make a special kind of starter for cider. Is there any big thing I'm missing or any other things I should know about before I dive right in?

I should be starting this weekend. What kind of racking schedule will I be looking at 1-2 weeks primary? How long for secondary and how long in tertiary or bottle?
